ABOUT

Dr. Fulgham is one of the most highly regarded clinical neuropsychologists in the Los Angeles area.  A licensed psychologist  in private practice for over 20 years, her practice has been dedicated exclusively to neuropsychological assessment.

Dr. Fulgham holds a Ph.D in Applied Developmental Psychology from the prestigious Claremont Graduate University, a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Cal State, and a Bachelor's degree from UCLA in Psychology (magna cum laude,) and was the recipient of multiple academic grants and awards throughout her academic career.  

Clinical and research-based-internships were completed in a number of settings including Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and Cal State Counseling Center.  During training, Dr. Fulgham's research interests included infant assessment, correlates of adolescent childbearing and family stress, childhood obesity, empathy in maltreated children, developmental effects of drug-addicted newborns, and adrenocortical activity as related to video game play (dissertation.)  

Dr. Fulgham completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychological assessment at Reiss-Davis Child Study Center, where she continued to serve as a doctoral-level supervisor for many years.  She has taught neuropsychological assessment, developmental psychology and general psychology at the post-doctoral, doctoral, and undergraduate level.  A native Angeleno, she lives in the Los Angeles area with her husband, three sons, and two dogs, and is a dedicated yoga practitioner.
